I do like your orginal plan on "anything goes" I wouldn't want to go out and buy more just to get enough of a certain color or colors. ~Abbigail~

I'm so new to this... Do I have this correct? If I was to send in 3 FQ, I would get 3 different ones back.
Can I create FQs from my existing stash of yardage?
What do people typically mail the fabric in? Those padded envelopes?
I don't know if I will be participating, but I would love to understand how the process works because as of now, I just have alot of extra yardage from previous projects. I've only purchased 2 FQs and that was for an applique project.

Grandmaof12:
I think we will wait till we are a little closer before we determine how many to send. If we only have 10 sign up, then 10 would be what we send. 25 would be the limit, though.
DWR37:
We usually ship in the Tyvek or padded envelopes with the same included in the package addressed to yourself with return postage. You must have the return postage in stamps as the metered stamp is dated.
You should use your stash. I don't want anyone buying anything extra for this. You can cut your yardage into FQ's if that's what you have you'd like to "get rid of" (swap).
The number of FQ's will be determined towards the end of sign ups.
Please, if you sign up, do not purchase FQ's. USE WHAT YOU HAVE IN YOUR STASH. Cut FQ's out of yardage if you'd like. They do not have to be the same, whatever you have you want to swap.

Becky - Add my name to the list. I have loads of FQ's so I'm sure I can pick a few to swap. It sounds like fun to me!

I'd like to swap. But I'm not sure I have enough pinks/blues/ or browns to share. Mine are more across the board in the color combinations.

I've already picked out a bunch so I'm ready whenever we get the final number of participants. The first 10-15 were easy because they were duplicates. The next ones were harder trying to decide which ones to part with. If we don't get more swappers, maybe we could swap two FQ's for each person. Just a thought...

I like Kelly's idea. If we only have 8 people sign up, we could each send 16, 2 for each person. Hopefully more people will sign up before it closes.

That's sounds good to me, too. We can send 2 per person that signs up.
We have a few more days for sign ups but if we do not get any more, we will send 2 for a total of 16 if everyone else agrees.
