Coyote, I just checked out the pattern you suggested and I love it! I think that would make a very pretty autograph quilt!

Sharon, here's a block that pretty easy to make. I did this one with my guild. Everyone who made a block chose their favorite color. The quilt is beautiful.

The Autograph Star block would make a pretty quilt. I just might be interested in doing another one. I'll wait to hear the particulars on the quilt.

zfatcat, I like that pattern, but always have problems stitching in the right place. Can you believe that 1/2 square triagles are easier for me?
I like the star pattern also.

I have never participated in anything like. Could you provide all the details, i.e. how many blocks, colors, block pattern, time limit, etc.

Sounds like fun

I am interested, depending on the pattern. I vote for 2 from this website: Winged Arrow or Hands All Around. They have nice places for signatures and everyone could choose their own colors. Or, if everyone could have access to a bears paw block pattern, that would be my favorite. The paw could be used for signatures and everyone could use their own colors, or a specific line of colors could be selected. I'll be watching for details. carol/kittyquilt

The only problem I see with Winged Arrow is that the center is pieced. Might make it hard to sign. Cyclone is similar, but the middle is one piece.

Just a thought--if everyone really like the winged arrow best, we could just make the center one piece instead of cutting it. my first choice is still bear paw, second, hands all around. just my input. carol/kittyquilt

That block you mentioned looks good to me. I'll keep watching and see what block you all decide on and if I think I can do it.
