Re: May Lotto
I received a copy of the template today. The envelope was taped shut and the tape sliced open. The template was still inside so I guess they didn't want it. However, if you also sent me a check for a zillion dollars you might want to put a stop payment on it because it was missing.

Stop payment done! That's really awful that someone did that. So frustrating. Can you dust for fingerprints!

Man, Chriss, those scumbags! And there goes your zil!
But, I have good news! I was able to fiddle with my pattern, enlarge it a tad, and after making a few cutting mistakes, make two units! Yay! With no tucks! I'll finish the other two units tomorrow to complete the four needed for the block. It really was much easier than I was thinking it would be, though it did take slow, careful stitching. Thanks, Val!

Re: May Lotto
I have two sets of four units and plan to make two more later today. I made a quilt of these once before but they were only about 3-1/2". This size is sooo much easier to sew! But I did speak too soon about not getting any tucks. I did this morning. Shucky-darn. So I had to frog a little bit, press, and resew. Pride does goeth before a fall, they say.

I do believe lotto is all about practicing and expanding our skills. Looks like you are doing just that Maryz

You are so right, Val! Lotto is a great place to practice old skills and learn new ones. Thanks for the opportunity! I have four sets of four finished and will get them into the mail one day soon. And now, back to my regularly scheduled Christmas sewing.
