Good afternoon lotto participants. Something a bit different this month. We will be doing the Patchwork Dresden Plate by MSQC. This is much easier than it looks. If you were not able to get the ruler, PM me for the instructions. It is important to note, the Wrights Easy Dresden will not work. Your plates will be too small. Here is the link to the youtube video.

Rules for this month are few,
1. follow the video for instructions to put this together
2. You may use any fabric as long as the fabric in each plate you make looks good together. This will end up being a somewhat scrappy quilt but we want each block to look nice.
3. I used 8 jelly roll strips to make this block and had much left over. I cut 10 of the blades out of one set of 4 strips and 10 blades out of another strip set. This just to give it some variety. They are all from the same jelly roll. If you cut your own strips, please please make sure they are a full 2 1/2 inches. Remember where the line on the ruler should be?
4. You will make the plate and send a 5 inch square for the winner to make the circle center. You DO NOT have to applique it onto the background square. It occurred to me that the winner may want to tie it all together with the same background for each square.
5. DO NOT PANIC, this is not hard. If you follow the directions including pressing all your blades will go right together and all your seams will mesh.
6. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. Happy Sewing!
