CHRISS - If you are making payments on an RV, and you stay in it more than two weeks a year, it's cosidered a second home and you can deduct the interest on your taxes. Sweet! But ours is now paid for so no tax benefit for us any longer. You always know where to go to find great patterns!

CHRISS - I, too, will be making 9 blocks. 9 would make a better setting than 8, don't you think?

I have all my background fabrics washed and today plan to get started on my first block so I can post a photo soon I have a plan. I hope it works . . .

I'm sitting this one out. Sorry.
A good friend reminded me that I get in my own way sometimes, probably more like often than sometimes!! I have fabric sitting on the couch for a project I really want and need to get done. And I can't put off the taxes any longer.

Y'all have fun building.

Lyn, I completely get it. Learning to say no is something I needed to do when I retired.

I'm calling mine a pieced Christmas house. It's from the cover of the 1997 Thimbleberries book. I'll be doing a few embellishments. Can't wait.

LYN, we're sorry to lose you but I understand. Life gets busy.

KATHY - your Christmas house sounds delightful! I can't wait to see it!

I just finished all my chores for the day, except folding one load of clothes when it comes out of the dryer. And I want to make some banana bread, but I think I will save that to do later when I take a break from the sewing room. For now, I'm off to play in the cotton!

Ooihhh a Christmas house sounds wonderful!

All I need for the dog house is a dog!

Lyn will miss you but I understand, I am a pro at getting in my own way.

I didn't make progress today except to purchase a background and part of the hive.
