Welcome aboard Mary and Lyn. Yes this does take accurate cutting especially cutting the squares in half. Must be correct corner to corner or Oops occur. Also don't stretch your bias edge. Manage those points!

Fun block to play with colors.

Oh and Chriss if you wouldn't mind sewing that last block together before sending? Lol

What Valerie? I thought you asked me to sew that last block. Maybe we need a swap where we just send in pieces and the person who gets the pieces gets to make it their own. Too funny.

Ok, I guess I will sew them all together

I got one done but was too big . I texted Mary and she told me the center blocks should be squared up to 9 inches. So I took off last pieces and corrected my mistake. So I guess I am in this month. LOL We will see how many I can do. I have a lot on my plate but needed a distraction.

Katy nothing like searching through fabric as a distraction. I find it very soothing

Question: Do we trim "rabbit ears" from finished block?
My finished block is 12 1/2" ( generously).
Yes I carefully trimmed first section to 9".

Fun picking color combinations. 😊 Sometimes hard to decide though. LOL.
I have a couple stitched so far.
How is it going for the rest of you?
HUGS, 💕 Vel

With Feb being Valentine’s Day I was going to make mine using Valentine fabric and coordinating fabrics but looking at all your blocks already I think I need to change my colors. Hmmm 🤔 what will I choose
