I have two applique pressing sheets (one for house and one for trailer). Mine is Fons and Porter brand that I bought many years ago. Tina is right. It's kind of plastic-y/nylon-y, light see through beige, 11x17 inches. Mine came rolled up in a clear plastic tube that you unzip to remove it. I store it on a hook in my sewing room. You place your pattern under it and then you can place your ready-to-fuse pieces on top. Then you iron, wait for it to cool, and gently life your piece off the sheet. It lightly adheres so lift gently.

They're the best huh Mary, makes applique a breeze.

I have 3 more to sew down. I thought I was going to finish yesterday but my back said otherwise.

How's everybody else doing?

Your blocks look great. I am pretty much sold on a pressing sheet. Never used one before but with the tutorial Tina posted I just may have to try.

OK - my two cents worth - they are wonderful! As good as sliced bread!

You can assemble all the parts on the pressing sheet, over your paper pattern, that you can see. Lightly adhere them altogether before you place it on your fabric. It makes very complicated applique a breeze!

I use those sheets all the time when doing my Skinnies. I have two as well. The Fons and Porter one is lighter and easier to see through.

Oh, it works great as well when you do the interfacing method of applique. You are able to get the sewn edges out and nicely shaped and crisp, before you put it in position.

Love all the blocks!
