Non-tear, plastic envelopes might be the trick. But baggies inside would be double protection.
I know I will be more careful next time. Thanks for sharing, my boo boo. 😟☺️

I try to always put my blocks in a Ziplock bag to protect them from moisture as well as ripped envelopes, plus I put my name and address on the baggie as well, just in case the outer packaging gets lost. That has saved me, or more accurately, my blocks, more than once.

Wish the post office was a bit more careful but they aren't. I try to use the free bubble plastic envelopes you can get online from USPS. If not, I will purchase a similar made envelope.

I use the cheap dollar store manilla envelopes. I add packing tape to the seams and sometimes the long edges of the envelopes to strengthen them. Plastic baggies are a great idea as is adding the address to the baggie.

We don't often see damaged envelopes, but stuff happens.

Lori how are those blocks coming? Can't wait to see them. This is going to be a great man 👨 quilt.

Chriss how are coming also? I know you have some done.

Just a reminder I am leaving the 20th and will return the 29th. DH and caregiver will be here to get the mail.
