Vel love that block. Have never done a black and white quilt. Looks challenging

Thanks. I plan to add more color as we do more blocks. I am using leftover fabric from previous projects. It's a challenge to keep using any leftovers. Scrappy can be interesting.
I might end up having to buy something as we go along, but maybe I can make my quilt completely scrappy.

And here's Judi's
Velda I'm loving the black/gray/white Dresden! As we go along... it will be fun to see how you can use up your scraps... I don't work well with scraps.. I need some inspiration and you are it!

Beautiful block. The twinkle in the blue fabric sets it off in a very pretty way.

Checking in after a jam-packed week here and loving what I'm seeing!
Velda, your black & white block is beautiful! I love black and white with just a touch of colored accent!
Val, the colors in your DP are stunning! That sparkly blue really makes it - well - sparkle!
Judi, your oh so pretty softly colored fabrics make me think of soft, comforting hugs
Mary Q, the DP queen! such happy colors! I've always loved batiks!
Katy, your fabrics bring my mom's aprons to mind - which always smelled of fresh homemade bread!
I better get mine posted!
