I got my blocks today. They are all so wonderful! I have NEVER made/sewn any quilts with black so this was a real treat.

Thank you Teresa for being such a great hostess and for the "bright" idea!

Now, if I can just tackle those geese and get them flying in the right direction!

Flo - what a hoot you are. I never would have thought to look at the grocery store!! I have to say though I don't go looking for patience ever. Seems the more I look the harder things are so I wised up.

Debbie - your blocks were the perfect shades!! Can't wait to see how you arrange your quilt. I know it will be brilliant bright!! I have a couple of projects to finish before I get to mine. I am not even putting them away

YEAH My Blocks are Here! What a wonderful treat to get home from work and find them in my mail box!

And I have a pretty sneaky SP too... she sent them along with my Lotto winnings! LOVE IT!!

You know what I'm going to be doing this weekend.... playing with my winnings!

Velda - the WINNER of the 12.5" blocks was Maryq!!!!!! To add to that surprise was an ADDED 12.5" block made by Valerie when she stopped at my house for a visit. Valerie had Mary for a Secret Pal in September. Worked beautifully!!!!

Valerie - Because I am hand delivering the quilt you made for your sister instead of sending it to you I have mailed your blocks and the extra fabric you had left over from the quilt. I am so excited and I hope she will be also
