Oh wow that went together Beautiful. I'm sure you will enjoy this one for many years to come. Very nice job. Love the colors too.

That turned out beautifully! I think it must have been right before I joined in summer 2009, as I don't remember the swap. I like the idea of the Pennsylvania block paired with the LeMoyne (PA) star block!
Before our house fire, I had a full size quilt with 1-1/4" finished blocks hand pieced in LeMoyne stars. It was in rough shape, but still an amazing piece of work!!! The fabrics looked to be from the late 1800s or a little earlier. I can't imagine making a mug rug with those blocks, and this was a full-size quilt! I always think of the woman who I didn't know who painstakingly pieced those tiny blocks so perfectly!
