ok, after looking at the blocks, I decided I didn't have to make any more. Besides, if I made more, I'm sure they would be going the right way and not fit in, so this is what I did instead.
And while I was sewing the edge closed last night, a friend of DH saw it and wants it, so I guess I finished it just in time.
