Stashbusters!
Well, it's a new year with, hopefully, new goals.
What are yours for the month?
Mine are:
Finish my kids' stockings(they didn't get them this xmas)
Finish a baby quilt for a good friend
That's all I can handle this month. How about you?

Re: Stashbusters!
I plan to make this the year of the UFO.
My goals this month are:
Finish the DWR top - done 1/5
Quilt 4 Rings on the DWR
Quilt the music quilt - done 1/17
Keep up with the Sylvia's Bridal Sampler BOW - 3 blocks done (for the month)
Make 4 swap blocks for a year long swap I'm in - done 1/7
Get the borders on Ladder to the Stars - done 1/10
Finish Step 4 of Carolina Christmas - done 1/23
and as always Keep my Scraps Cut up.
Tonight after dinner I'm going to tackle the borders so I get it off my list. Then this weekend I'll work on basting the quilts.

Re: Stashbusters!
This year I hope to sew up at least half, okay, one third of the projects I have purchased in the past. I will start by finishing two BOM's - the squares are already done. then on to two quilts that are cut out. THEN to the ones that are patiently waiting for the first roll of the rotary cutter! No more new BOMS this year - only when I have completed some older stuff. That is not to say that I will not have to purchase backs or additional fabrics.......

I have a queen size Pink Lemonade that I just got back from the LA. She did a fabulous job, but now I've got to get it bound by Feb 6th.
I have a top cut out that I need to work on.
I'm looking for a two color pattern for a blue and white quilt I want to get done before spring.

This months projects:
1. Orion's Star-I have a good start on this one, hopefully I can finish it this month.
2. Stars accros America--I have all the blocks made and need to set it up and add borders.
I have several UFO'S I need to finish, but won't get to them this month. Would love to complete ALL the UFO'S this year.

Re: Stashbusters!
I've already finished the QIAD autograph quilt.
Finish the quilt I'm working on now which is "Psycho" by Brenda Henning using those awful Bali Pops.
Make "Star Log Cabin" out of civil war repro. fabrics.
Make the Judy Neimeyer quilt.
Quilt all of the above.
Finish the felt and sequin stockings for the twins by next Christmas.
I think I need to stay off my computer so I can get things done.

Re: Stashbusters!
I'm looking over what I wanted to do and what I actually got done. I'm pretty happy.
I finished the DWR and got 1 3/4 rings quilted -- I wanted to do 4 rings, but I did only start the quilting on the 11th and I've spent the last 10 days shuttling back and forth the mom's doctors and the rehab center.
The music quilt is done, I kept up with the Sylvia Bridal Sampler BOW, made 4 blocks for a birthday swap, finished part 4 of Carolina Christmas, got the borders on Ladder to the Stars, kept my scraps cut up, and did two 15 minute pressing sessions followed by the cutting sessions, completed a redwork snowman block while shuttling mom to her appointments and have all the blocks made on a new quilt.
Whew. And here I thought I was exhausted by spending a couple of hours each morning and evening at the rehab center and working all day. Believe me when I tell that only the redwork block and one SBS BOW got done last week.
How did everyone else do on their goals this month?
