Re: July Stashbusters!!!!
Other than the signifcant progress on my scrap basket, I've done absolutely nothing quilt related. We were out of town before the 4th and then we hit crisis mode with our computers the following week. I thought I was back up and running last weekend, but my computer went back into the shop for more repair work. Anyway, DH and I have spent lots of evenings dealing with the computers for the last two week -- so no quilting for me. I did however go to the KT Stash Society meeting Monday night.
I figure another week of putting software back on the computre and dealing with DHs resume and I'll be back to quilting.

Re: July Stashbusters!!!!
I'm sort of at a standstill. I haven't done anything else on my list and I really need to get working on that challenge as the deadline is Aug 20. I got inspired to make pillowcases so that's what I've been doing with my time. I'm using the hot dog technique as listed in PFTH with 4 completed and 10 more in various stages. I think I want to get some neutral fabric to use as the body and then make the cuff and accent piece zingers. Want to check out Wally World to see what they have to offer to use for patriotic, too.....sigh.

Ok, how is everyone doing? I know it's summer and vacation time,so it's hard to stay on top.
I started a class on summer porch, and had to stay at shop yesterday to make sure I kept up with this week's homework. It was great.
One more day, so good luck.

I just updated my post but forgot to add the pillowcases. I have 11 done, 3 almost done, 8 cut out and fabric pulled for many more! I hope I'm as productive next month!

Re: July Stashbusters!!!!
work on scrap basket - significant progress - see previous posting
work on redwork snowmen - nothing
work on my nephew's quilt - finished 1 block and started another
do applique on table runner - still waiting for applique
write up finishing instructions on BOM - nadda - too many computer issues
make blue, yellow and white star blocks - counting Aug 1st, made 9
I also made a total of 11 six inch blocks for my Syliva's Bridal Sampler quilt and a swap I'm in. Ultimately I simply had to sew.
Now I'm trimming and pressing tiny HST. I have no idea why other than it's slightly mindless and I'm printing DVDs so I can't get too involved in anything.
