Vicky,
Thank you for thinking of such a fun swap! I agree that it's sort of like a one-to-one Christmas swap except in summertime.

Should be a lot of fun getting to know someone else from the forum. I like shopping for someone - based on a mere list or paragraph - and trying to find something that I think will delight them.

It's fun too, to read everyone's descriptions. Helps us know each other a bit more and a person becomes more real than just seeing their forum name.

:)

I signed up but guess I didn't post my info. Sorry :)
I sent my address this morning to Vicky - so hopefully I haven't kept the group waiting - just been an extremely busy week for me.
Okay anyway -
Love brights & fun fabrics. Like 50's look retro prints but no 30's please. Also - no sock monkey please! lol - (long story)
As far as goodies - chocolate is always good & I love coffee & tea. Books, quilting supplies, notecards/notepads, funky pens, cool buttons or embellishments are fun too.
Thanks ladies!
I appreciate everyone for all they do.

Beth - thanks for the note about paperbackswap.com - can't wait to check it out. I love to read & have so many paperbacks that I usually just garage sale for like a quarter or so. But I would so much rather trade them in for something else.
Thanks for the tip!

Sorry I have not posted - just got back from vacation and misunderstood - I checked the likes of my person on the secret pal posting but found more things on this posting - great choices.

I like all kinds of fabric, color wise, purples, pinks, reds, teal and black and white - does not have to be something new, could just come from you stash (as we all seem to have one). Most of my fabrics have some type of flowers on them - love flowers, butterflies and fairies.

I collect spoons and magnets while on vacation.

No allergies to speak of - no pets.

I like to quilt & sew, knit, crochet, counted cross stitch, swim, boat, hike, camp and read (lots of different types of books - visit the library alot).

My favorite part of these the secret pal and this swap is learning about my partner and where they live.

Thanks again for the opportunity to meet new people all over the world.

I am having so much fun with this swap! I got a fun partner to shop for since we like similar things!!

Does th $10.00 limit apply to things we already have or just things we have to go out and buy?

Michelle06H- I would say put your already have items out and estimate the price. When you get up to what you would think is $10 stop adding to the pile.
