late august sounds better to me..also would it be possible to say put a sign up like DJ did on hers so you could sign up for 1 or 2 sets. that way we could commit to either 12 or 24 depending on how many we could do. If you send in 12 you get 12 back if you sign up for 24 then you get 24. If that seems too complicated I would be willing to take that on..
We might get more people who can do a smaller number ;)

Would somebody who has the pattern maybe review it and estimate how long it would take for each block please. If I had the pattern I would make a sample and then I would know how soon I may be able to have some done up. They look applicaid to me. I am working on a quilt for my Dad for Father's day, I am doing the CW swap, plus a 35 block swap on another site and A quilt for my granddaughter. If I could get those done by September (35 blocks due then) plus keep up with the charm squares and lotto blocks, I would be okay to start late summer into september. During summer the scout schedule is just too busy for anything else. Let me know if anyone willing to wait that long. I would have to really say by late October for due date. I would even be willling to host then.

I think Carolyn has a good idea about how many to make. Dj's swap of sets of 12 is something that I can see doing very easily.

Wow! Ladies! I haven't been on all weekend and come back to this! I was really thrilled with this when I saw it. I'm glad that you all are just as taken with it.

I haven't ever hosted a swap before. I was very nervous about posting it originally. If Gardenquilter would like to, I don't have a problem with her hosting it. I promise to host something later as I get more comfortable and should I come up something else.

I agree too that there are quite a few things going on right now and originally felt as if this could wait a while. I've got 4 pkgs going out in the mail tomorrow myself and have a quilt top almost finished and ready to machine quilt. We are all busy.

I like Carolyn's idea of allowing 12 or 24. I think I would like to make a wall hanging, so 12 would be perfect.

Now, I just need to get the magazine--- although I've got plenty of time, which is nice! :-)

i would love to host this one but i am not wild about the idea of 12 or 24 for the simple reason 24 will give a bed quilt and i really dont want a bed quilt for aprons i think a nice wallhanging would be perfect as or right now there are 13 people who have expressed interest so how about 16 that would give you a finished quilt of 31 X 31 a nice wall hanging - these blocks are only 6" not very large

The aprons are cute, but I like BamaGirl's "Housedress" better.

Maybe we could do a swap later with "dresses."
