I have been quilting since 2005. Bought a book with a sampler pattern
in it and taught myself. The quilt I made for Taylor. I am making her another one as she is wearing this one out. I need to repair it and put it up. This new one is of frogs.
Quilting doesn't aggravate my husband as much as my love of reading romance books by Nora Roberts. I have nearly $1000 in books and it just pisses him off when he sees me reading that "crap" as he puts it.
I just love reading. Kathleen E Woodiwiss, and Catherine Anderson are two more of my favorites.
I have made 4 quilts of different sizes for family members. I haven't been a diligent due to a constant fight with severe diverticulitus. I have more bad days than good sometimes.

Favorite Colors: bright colors (reds,yellows, oranges,blues etc)

Favorite Style of Fabrics: I adore bright hand dyed, homespuns,cottons. I love batiks just hate sewing with them, I dislike oriental and novelties (depending on what is involved).

Hand or Machine Quilt: I do everything by hand unless my fibromyalgia is giving me fits then I will use my machine. Though I rather do by hand because my machine is not the machine I need to accomplish everything. I am just too poor to buy the one I want.

I love my family, grandchildren and husband very much.
I have a terrible weakness for fabric. I can't go to my favorite shop (Creative Fires) and not walk out with more fabrics. I love charm packs and fat qrtrs paks. I just love new material. That aggravate my beloved to no end. Though I have gotten better.
