December 2007 Charm Swap

My charms came this AM and they are "fan-tab-ulous" Loved them all....can not pick out one I like more than the other. Can't wait to use them.

Well, I thought I'd posted that I received my charms, but I don't see it, so I guess it was one of those things I thought I did...and didn't do! LOL! I did receive them, and they are soooo pretty! Thank you everyone! And Mary, thank you for hostessing this for us and doing such a nice job! Under the pics category in "Blue Quilt" I saw a quilt pattern and went to the website for it, the pattern is called Simply Squares. And there's another one there called Scrappy Gridlock. Both are made using all 5" charm squares. The instructions give cutting and yardage if you want to make different size squares for different size quilts, etc... and has 5 or 6 different layouts, too. They're perfect for using the charms from our swaps! So, that's what I'm going to do with my charms from this swap! Thanks again everyone!

I saw that also and was thinking the same thing. I'm also looking at the "Take 5" that someone posted. But I like the Scrappy Square cuz it does take 5" squares so less cutting.

Mary, I received my squares on Saturday, they are soooooo pretty. Thanks again for hosting.

I just got my charms today. This is the first time for me. I love seeing all of the fabrics and where they all came from. They are all very beautiful.

Got my charms today way up here in Nova Scotia where we have snow enough to share!

I love them all and my DDs have their eyes on some of my charms! I'll be guarding them closely. LOL
