Does anyone use the Brooklyn Revolver Cutting Board?
My friend gave me one today at Bee; and it looks like it might be 'slippery' when using a rotary cutter. Just wondering.

Never heard of it. Sounds dangerous if it's not going to be stable while you cut.

I have the Olfo rotating mat, but I was going to buy the B.R. When you push down to cut, the mat won't move. It's designed to spin freely until your weight is push onto it, then stops. The B.R is a great mat, been around a long time. Have you checked out their website for info? Amie :o)

Mine is June Taylor, it becomes stable when weight is put on it also and so far has been very easy and safe to use. I have a 12 inch size and may order to larger one from QIAD. I hope you enjoy yours as much as I do mine.
Happy stitching!!

Have had mine for about 5 years, it stays put when you put weight on it and it's more than great for fussy cutting. I've used it for both an I Spy (all those dreaded hexagons!) and my Apple Core.

I have two of the Brooklyn Revolvers...one has a pressing pad and you can flip it over to press and back over to the other side to cut on. Well, I pressed a little too energetically and the pressing side warped. I use it at the cabin or the office now for cutting. Then I got the version that only has the cutting mat side and I LOVE it! And I read somewhere on here awhile back that someone suggested when the mats on these wear out, you can cut an old cutting mat to fit it and glue it on.
