A better add 1/4 ruler for paper piecing

I couldn't find my six inch add a 1/4 ruler so I picked up the 4 1/2"
Easy Angle, It's an EZ Quilting brand ruler. It is so much better for me. It still has the six inches I need along the diagonal side but more ruler area so my hand is out of the way of the cutter more. Most Most of my paper piecing blocks are 4 1/2 so the ruler covers most of the paper holding it more securely. I think it's much easier and better than the narrow add a 1/4 ruler.

Good to know sewbug. I have the add a 1/2 but its the longer one. I don't have the short one. I was wondering if I needed it, guess I don't!

I'll have to try it, I like paper piecing if there are too many angled pieces in a block. Thanks for the info.
Have Fun,
