I am an avid viewer of Quilt In a Day and recently saw you, Eleanor , use a strip cutter that you said did not slip. The rotary cutter is attached to the ruler. I've looked through every quilters catalog I have, but cannot find this item. Any directions?

Here's the Havel's brand, 6.5"x27.5":

Here's the 4.5x27.5" Sew Easy:

They're both on sale right now. :)

Am considering the Havel's brand strip cutter--little wider than the Sew Easy--has anyone used both and preferred one over the other? Also, do both cut multiple layers? Looks like Havel's takes regular rotary blade replacement and does Sew Easy take a cartridge or something else? Thanks for any comments.
