Quilt in a Day Forums

What is your favorite machine thread? I have recently purchase Aurifil (quite a few spools), they are not cheap. I used some on a baby quilt and was terribly thin. Is there anyone else who has used the Aurifil?

I use it a lot. It is my favorite to piece with and I love that it gives off much less particles. What weight thread did you use? I like 50 weight for piecing
