Curved piecing - EASY!!

Post by cindyg » Mon Feb 07, 2011 2:20 pm

If you ever need to do curved piecing, have I got a notion for you. It's the Satinedge foot by Creative Feet. No pins at all and it comes out perfectly. I can't believe it. I had to watch the instruction video because this foot is not normally used for sewing curves. I sat down at my machine and did it perfectly the first time and the next two times. Now I have nothing to fear with this Judy Neimeyer quilt I'm doing. WOO HOO Am I ever doing a happy dance!

Cindy, does this foot attach to any machine? Because my old Bernie feet won't even fit my new Bernie. Maybe I should look through my Bernie Feet Catalog and see if they have on of these sweeties of their own!

This is on my list for Paducah. Anyone have a comparison between this and the curve master foot? Can you give us a ball park price for the foot?

Corning - I tried both and the Satin Edge foot worked better for me. If you have the opportunity to try them both, then do so. You might like the Curve Master better.

Corning I just got mine at the lancaster show and I believe I paid 33.00 or 35.00 but you can use this for any curved pieces Im waiting for dies that I purchased for the drunkards path so then I will try this.

Will this foot work on a Viking Designer 2? Sounds like a great tool.
