True cut blade sharpener

Post by LancasterFan4 » Tue Jan 18, 2011 10:47 am

I purchased the truecut rotary blade sharpener and it works great. It was on sale when I bought it. I have been using a rotary cutter for well over 20 years my very first cutter I have been using for paper with it's original blade I sharpened it and It worksGREAT. I think it is worth it's weight in gold.

Grandson got me one for Christmas. I only sharpened one blade and I agree, works great. My blade wasn't really, really, dull, just running a little slow but after following the directions, works like new.

My DH gave me one for Christmas along with a sissor sharpener. I love them both.

I bought one about a year ago. It's totally ruined every blade I've tried it on. Is there a trick to using it?

I, too, bought one at the beginning of this year. It totally dulled every blade I tried to sharpen. I tried to contact the company multiple times and it was weeks before I got a reply which was just the link to the you tube video on how to use it. I finally returned it to QIAD and got my money back last month. Do I dare try another one?

I bought the Sullivan ruler that is supposed to sharpen your blade as you use it, but I found that it dulled my blade. I was very disappointed. However, I returned it to Sullivan and they completely reimbursed me, including for shipping costs.
