Looking for a spiral template

Hi, Does anyone know where I can get a spiral template for handquilting.

I recently went to the Birmingham NEC quilting exhibition and lots of the quilts on display were hand quilted with this type of pattern. I can't seem to find a spiral template. So I am looking for help with this.

A friend of mine has some sort of tool that let her mark one of her quilts in a spiral. I'm going over to her place to help paint her sewing room (she painted mine last summer) so I'll try to remember to ask about it.
