Sewing and Quilting supplies are available in the back to school stuff
I purchased a little plastic pencil box that is perfect to hold my rotary cutter and some little sharp nosed scissors for my ironing board for less than $1 each...Those little pencil boxes are in a variety of colors. I bought two so I could have one for my paper cutting rotary cutter so I could identify it more easily.
Happy Stitching!!!

at Michaels they sell those pencil cases as rotory cutter holders.. I bought one for DH for his drill bits... they are kind of oval and the top pops off....

I buy many pairs of the Fiskars school scissors to toss in my sewing bags for classes and to have everywhere in my sewing room. They are great for quick snips. Don't forget Elmer's School glue for fabric basting and diluted it makes great fabric stiffener or super duty starch (use pressing sheet).

I buy white chalk and WASHABLE Crayola markers to mark my quilts with. The marker washes right out after quilting - I worried about that at first.

Tomorrow I am going to buy the washable Crayola markers. I would have never thought about using them.
Thanks,

I've been using the rectangular plastic, snap top pencil cases as a supply box for classes, etc. It will hold rotary, small scissors, pins, rippers, bobbins and just about anything else you can squeeze in. One of the best bucks I ever spent.

thanks for the tip. I am looking for a large separate eraser since I just use a mechanical pencil when marking diamond quilting markings on bags.
Sewbug----Which Elmer's glue are you talking about? Since you dilute it , I would assume the liquid one. I tried the glue stick but it didn't work too well but it was the purple one. I heard the school glue was great tho. Saw a review in a mag and said the school glue worked better than the expensive quilting ones.
Thanks everyone for all your suggestions. And school supplies are so cheap this time of yr. hugs, Shirley Mae
