Local PBS station is airing Fons & Porter on Saturday mornings. This morning in the TIPS they talked about using a nut picker for a stileto. A lady had sent in that she had misplaced her stileto and used a nut picker in its place and found it to be a very good substitute.

I always wondered what a purple tahng was.

I use a wooden skewer. In fact, our LQS just hands them out for free at their cash register, but you can buy a package of 50 for only a few bucks. Works well. maryz

How about that wooden thingy that you push your cuticles back with. Don't know what it is called lol, but it would work. But I do have a stilleto and a purple thangy when I can find them. Marge

Wooden skewers are 100 for $1 at WalMart here. I keep a vase full of them by my cook stove. I use them to stir and poke food. LOL. It sure saves messing up a spoon or spatula. I'm in to disposables when it comes to dirty dishes. I figure I can save a few inch spot in the landfill if I wash dishes or save water and energy by not washing dishes. I opt to save water and energy and keep my stress level low to boot.
