I have tried to use the June Tailor Shape Plus several times. However, as I get cutting at about 6 and larger, the strips are off about a 1/16 of an inch. This makes for inaccurate piecing.I have measured the stips cut with the Shape Plus with various rulers and they all show the same. I guess I could describe the strip as being 2 to 3 threads too narrow.
Any help will be appreciated!

Re: June Tailor Shape Plus
I find that as I cut that I have to hold the ruler next to the slot I am cutting. Also, don't cut slow hoping that you will be more accurate. Just zip on through. What happens is that the blade of the cutter spreads the slot wider. I also make sure that I am pushing my cutter straight away from me and not on any type of an angle.
I have an older Olfa cutter that the guard moves back so more of the blade is exposed. I think that the cutters that have an auto close guard on them would open the slots wider the further you get away from zero.
Good luck,
Sharon V.

Re: June Tailor Shape Plus
When I use mine I put my fingers right next to the groove I'm cutting and I try to keep the blade on the side of the slot where my fingers are holding down the ruler. Hope this makes sense. I also keep an eye on the bottom line and make sure it stays exactly on the fold and doesn't get crooked.
