Quilt in a Day Forums

I bought a quilters drafting pencil. Does anyone know what it is used for? Is it for drawing plans for a quilt? I don't think it is for marking on a quilt. I am thinking this was a wasted buy of mine.LOL, Jan

It's good for tracing patterns, has quality lead and is good for shading if you do design on graph paper.
