Quilting Books

I just got a book from the library that may just be the best quilting book I have seen (not written by Eleanor). I will likely be buying one for myself to keep.
It is called the Quilter's Catalog , A Comprehensive Resource Guide. It is set up like a dictionary with listings for everything, shops, fabric, patterns, web info, teachers, tools, selling..... I have enjoyed sitting and just opening to a page and will get engrossed.
And for those who think spending on a book that doesn't at least give you a pattern they have several including Eleanor's Scrappy Peter and Paul Quilt.

I have that book and just love it. I had packed it away and recently dug it back out. i am sure glad I did. I needed a quick answer on something. I recommend it highly.

I have that book and love it! It is fun just to sit and read. The author spoke to our guild last year and was interesting and funny. She is working on a new edition, but it couldn't be that much different.

I have that book also and it is really great. I just like browsing through it when I have a couple of minutes. Every quilter should have it. it is especially great for someone like me who has only been quilting for a few years. I have been a sewer for many many years, but fairly new to quilting.
