Marking magic spray

Post by Suzquilts » Tue Sep 02, 2008 10:11 am

Has anyone used this or heard anything about it? Looks too good to be true so there must be something icky about it, like overspray maybe?

Sounds like a great idea to me. I guess one would use the spray instead of the pouncer to mark a quilt.

The main thing that I would be concerned with is ease of removal. I have just had an awful time, have tried various types of markers and, with the exception of the blue water-soluble pens, the marks require multiple washings to get out, or I can't get them out completely at all. Fortunately, now they are being made with a finer tip for more precise lines. Guess I will stick with them!

It will be interesting to hear others' opinions on this product.

I like Roxanne's Quilter's Choice marking pencils. The marks are easy to get off even on white fabric.

I've marked with the Roxanne's that Sewbug mentioned and loved how easily they come out when washed; also my Pounce Chalks so I think I may stick with them until someone (other than me LOL) is brave enough to try the spray stuff.

Thanks for your comments. As always, you ladies give me something to consider!
