I am using a homemade quilting frame that I made from 2x4's. Right now I prop it on 2 of my dining room chairs. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I should do for legs/props so I don't have to use my chairs?

Would saw horses work? They have the plastic ones that fold up now.

These are easy to make and not bulky. They stack on top of each other when not in use. I am going to paint these a sunny yellow. I have a white primer on one little leg so far. Ha

I have a pattern for legs that fit boards like yours that are 1x3's (I think that's the size), but they can be modified to fit the 2x4's. They breakdown to lay flat. We used them at my church & I copied them. If you want me to send you a copy of the pattern PM me.

Rosebud, I mailed out the pattern to you today. I am soooo sorry I took so long getting it to you. I hope I put good instructions on it for you. If not let me know.....

PS If there is anybody else who wants these uprights and base pattern let me know. Everything breaks down and lays flat for easy storage.
