Here is a dry iron that I found online that you can't find in the stores anymore.

I found the last Black and Decker classic no auto shut off in my town at Lowes. It was way in the back of the shelf.

LOVE my Black and Decker! First one I bought lasted about 5 years; got a new one only because it wasn't getting quite as hot as I wanted, but it still worked.

Unfortunately, my mother's dog has managed to pull my current one off the ironing board a couple times, so it's not working at full capacity any more...but I will replace it with another Black and Decker.

Also have Rowenta's travel iron that comes with me on retreats.

I have the Auto Shut Off Rowenta Steam Iron....regular size. It works great and love the steam feature. I may get a smaller iron to put by my machine now too.

I've had good luck with Black & Decker and Kenmore... once I figured out to use distilled water instead of tap water! I used to get crusty hard water buildup in my steam vents :)

I have a Maytag cordless and love it! So much so that I talked my DH into letting me get one for the RV, too. One less thing to haul in & out when we get to home base.

I have a Mary Proctor that still works. I have a Black and Decker auto-off 470 Quick and Easy. Everything about it is fine EXCEPT, when trying to use the steam, all the water gushes out once it is set upright. rats.
