Easy binding notion

You're welcome, Sunsup. The price is right, isn't it? I saw a long piece of 1" PVC on the side of the road last Sunday and I started to turn around and get it but there was too much traffic. I do, however, work for a landscape contractor so I'll just have the guys cut me a little piece off.

Update: Now I have a 4" piece of PVC to roll my binding up on. One of the guys here at work smoothed the cut edges for me. It's a little sturdier than the toilet paper roll.

I did try that one time, but forgot I had it around my neck when the phone rang. Luckily, I have needle down and didn't ruin the quilt, just about chocked myself. Since then, I hang a wal-mart bag off my knee lifter and put the roll of binding in there. Maybe I will try the around my neck thing again, just move the phone closer to me.
