Nope, you can never have too many scissors... and I'm living proof as I have them EVERYWHERE---except I can never find one when I need one.

My favorite scissors for snipping thread has got the be the Fiskars mini spring loaded pair. No need to put your thumbs or fingers in a hole. AND they are also great for ripping seams (have lots of practice with that) as the tips are good and sharp!

Love those little Fiskar's - have two pair so I can usually find one. First pair came with a set of replacement blades. Wonder if replacement blades still available?

I went to Walmart today and could not find the school scissors with the point. They only had the blunt ones. AND they were not 50c but 97c!!!

I was really hoping to find some and put them around in different places (being that my other ones seem to walk away!)

Sewbug, I finally found the pointed scissors at the Super Walmart. I found them for 74c, which I didn't think was bad. I bought a pair for my sister in law too. They are a great size and handy to have on the ironing board for those little stray threads that seem to show up. Thanks for the great hint!

I have two pr. of small, pointed sissors that came in the gadget package with my machines but I need some more. I'll try WM the next time I go in. As has been said, you can never have too many. I too love the school boxes. I have one for each machine and keep the feet, brushes, screwdrivers etc. in them.
