I have one of those mini, stick type irons, & it's okay, but recently, I got this one by Darce, & I use it ALL the time now & love it! They come in different colors & run abound $10 & worth it too!

Here's a link so you can see a pic of them. I have a pink one!

I got mine at a quilt shop, but I'm sure other places carry them now too.

Mine is a Hobbico - called a 'custom sealing iron' - bigger than the Clover mini. It has a nice wooden handle and I've never burned myself with it. I bought it at a quilt show in Pigeon Forge, TN and have seen them at other shows, too. It came with a little wooden platform with a metal plate attached for holding it, but I have since bought a more sturdy holder with a ceramic tile AND a metal holding 'rack'. I like the iron a lot. Think I paid about $20 for it.

I have one. Used it once or twice. It was more trouble than it was worth. It kept getting in my way with the cord. I think I'll try the cup method and meybe that will keep that blasted cord out of the way. Thanks for the tip.
