So far I like King Tut. There are many that I haven't tried yet so my opinion isn't worth much. I can tell you that neither of my machines like the long-staple Coats and Clark.

I use guitermann,king tut,signature,and a South Africa one called rasant and the colour is no;925 it is a brown thread but like magic it blends with all colours.even light ones. kathy.

After fighting with my machine - she won - I bought King Tut thread and have not had one single bit of a problem. No broken stitches, skipped or tension problems. It is expensive, but from what I can see it is WORTH IT!!!!!

I like King Tut and Superior ....but, I want to try some of the brands you have mentioned in this discussion. I hear the "Star" thread is good.

I'm new to the site, so hi folks! I use King Tut like so many others, have tried YLI but their's were a bit thick and stiff, of course, could have been me!!!!
