Thank you so much for posting the patterns! I'm going to have to depend on the goodness of friends to build -- We don't have any woodworking tools :)

My friend uses a frame like this for handquilting. She pins the backing and top to strips of jean fabric instead of using tacks. (just laying the batting between) No need to baste, and pins are easier of the fingers...

I want one!!! Now I just have to figure out how which lengths of 1x2s I'll want to use! (baby quilt, twin size, full size, queen???)
