I just got the new Joann's ad in the mail. Simplicity has come out with a bias tape maker. Has anyone bought one or seen it? Was wondering if it was worth the money.

I want one! So I'll be getting it soon. LOL. On another forum a quilter posted she had one and loves it. I don't like to press fold binding and this machine heat sets the fold. I read this is the same machine that makes the Lobbypops bindings. I found it online for $79. Many quilt bloggers are posting about this machine too, so far no bad reviews. There is strip cutter machine that goes with it too.

First time I saw it was in an ad in the latest Fons and Porter Mag - looks interesting - will keep my eye on this post to find out more too

I saw that machine in Jo Ann's add on sale right now. I will be watching to see what everyone thinks of it. The original price over $100. is a little steep right now.

I saw this machine last week at the quilt shop where I was taking a seminar........I want one!!!!!! And they have it special price for $79.00. No, didn't buy it but wow is it nice.......carol/kittyquilt
