Cleaning the cutting board
Was there someone that said the cutting board can be cleaning with a nylon pad? What is the pad you found and where?

You can use one of the sponges with the rough scouring material on one side. It actually works quite well.

Lint rollers work pretty good too.

Check your quilt store for a product called: Mat Smoother, by Colonial. It works good. Removes knicks, burrs, & fibers.

I use a round honing stone. Works like a charm to smooth the mat. I use a damp sponge on it afterward. Also the heart I Love To Quilt emery works great to smooth out rough places on the mat!
