I've heard pros and cons of the quiltcut 2 cutting tool. Anyone have a new or slightly used one they might be willing to sell? Any feedback from your experience?

Re: QuiltCut2
I have the Alto QuiltCut 2. I bought it last year at the Paducah show, (that thing is heavy so be sure to leave it up at the booth until you get ready to leave LOL) I was disappointed at first, I got the wave in the strips I cut. It's not a quick cut this system. I have to get the fabric folded and lined up accurately just as I would with any ruler. The best thing is how the fabric is held in place. I still haven't been able to move the cutting guide to make squares, diamonds, or HSTs without messing up all the straight cuts. The cutting mat is one of the best I've used. I think if I used it more I'd get better results with it.

Re: QuiltCut2
I just got mine for Christmas this year and I really like it. I haven't used it bunches (cause I don't like a lot of UFO's around) but what I have used it has been with very good results. I don't get that elbow in my strips any more when I cut them. I was making 6" squares and the first set was off just a tad. But after using it some more, the rest were right on. I wasn't the best cutter and fabric is just too expensive to screw up with. So I'm glad I made the investment.........jan
