The more I use this thread, the more I love it. It sews just as smooth as YLI, King Tut, and all the other expensive spools I have picked up at various quilt shows. I have hardly any lint build up at all in my machine after a full day of sewing.

Just letting you know - that they now sell this in cones for $7.99 for anyone with a longarm or midarm machine :o)

So can I use this thread on my regular sewing machine... instead of say Guterman thread? is it just like regular thread.?

I have always wanted to buy a bigger spool but wasn't sure if this would work?

Chriss,
It is the thread that I use for everything with my regular machine. I haven't bought the cones yet but I think it is the same thread as the spools. Look at the website and go the the "sets". It is good thread and a real bargain especially when you buy the sets. Free shipping for $50 or more and I like that. You might want to PM one of the more experienced quilters than me. I think Amie has used a variety of threads and so have some of the others that posted.

I have used a spool of every brand of thread looking for the perfect one. Nothing compares to YLI silk sewing thread but Essential thread is now my favorite everyday sewing thread.

WOW! The prices are great! I ordered 3 sets of thread and some charms. If so many of you are convinced of the quality, then I believe it's a fantastic buy..my order has been shipped and I can't wait to use it!
I learn something all the time on this forum...!!!
