Batting - what do you use?
I just started quilting a quilt. When I bought the batting I decided to try a cotton batting. When I was spray basting it I couldn't get over how much easier it was to smooth and layer, etc. I was wondering what you all use?

Either warm and natural or Quilter's dream cotton.

So far I have used Hobbs and Warm and Natural. I liked both but I think I liked the Warm and Natural best. It shrunk a little more and I like that look.

Mountain Mist Rose is good and I love love love the silk blend batting. I haven't tried the bamboo batting yet, many have told me it's wonderful.

The Bamboo batting is wonderful. Thread glides through it like butter. You do get quite a bit of shrinkage giving your quilt that crinkly, antique look. I love it! It is pretty pricey though.

I use Warm and Natural. Before I retired, I bought an entire bolt (90" wide) of it on sale--figured out to $3 per yard and I'm really glad I bought it!
