I Love My Needle Threader!

I have one of these:

and it's fantastic! I used to use a long lengh of thread when hand sewing because I hate threading needles. And of course, the longer the thread, the more chances for it to tangle! Now I use a much shorter length of thread because of this neat gadget!

It's a good bargan at regular price, but its on sale for $8.97!

I have one of those and it took a long time for me to get it to work right. But I found out I was too gentle. Now I give the plunger a hard fast push and it works great. I have the little red and white threader and it does a great job on regular sewing needles but it's wobbly. I learned not to leave a needle in the threader. OUCH!

I find that mine works best if I snugly (not tightly) hold the tread on both sides while pushing the lever. If I leave one end loose, it doesn't thread.

I've even gotten used to my needle threader on my new Juki. Especially like the automatic thread cutter!

The wooden base is really great at stabalizing the threader. Qiad sells them. Use my threader all the time, the needle eye is sort of invisible to my eye. LOL

Good morning; do you use certain brand of needle? Will it thread hand quilting thread? I had trouble with the clover brand.

TIA janie
