Well, I discovered the mat bottom has a right side and a different side! I turned the bottom to the right side and it stays put now. LOL

you girls are always getting me to want something... first it was the stripping book, which I bought.... then it was El's flying geese ruler, which I bought.... now it is this mat that spins.... which seems to be a must have for the flying geese ruler....
The reason I never bought one before is I thought it would be wobbly like a lazy susan.... but it sounds like it works really well for you all.... it will be my next purchase....

Marilynsgrammy, I am with you! We are being corrupted...but in a good way! LOL I don't have the Stripping book but I do have the Flying Geese book and the Log Cabin book....and a very kind forum member is sending me her extra Tennissee Waltz book. Now that I hear all this good stuff about a rotating mat I must save up for one!
It is hard turning my great big mat when making those flying geese.

Susie, I am glad I am not the only one who is corrupted.... I think this may have been one of those things my mom warned me about when I was younger..... but I can't help it....
You'll have to get the stripping book, it is really neat.... I am being lured into the pioneer sampler book because of the quilting picture section.....just a bunch of tempteresses in this forum.... really, get the stripping book.... you'll love it....
ONe day they will all covet a toy we have..... then they will see how it is....Chriss

You are right Chriss! I should get that Stripping book. I can't believe that last January I didn't have a scrap of fabric to my name other than leftover grandkid's flannel from pj's and now I can whip that credit card out just as fast as the rest of 'em! I used to be a very careful person but hanging out here....well, let's just say those nuns would have slapped my hand you can bet! I am rapidly building a "stash" and now need to put it to good use! Happy quilting to you!
