Re: rulers
I have the triangle in a square ruler and I love it. Is this the one you mean?

Or are you talking about the square up rulers?

Re: rulers
I have seen the square in a square ruler but do not have it so don't know how it works. And I don't think it is an Eleanor Burns ruler. When you do use it, wdbequilter, let us know how you like it. Marge

Re: rulers
I have a friend that teaches for square in a square. She swears by it. I don't know that I see the point of it - traditional techniques suit me just fine - seems like more work than the tradional methods.

Here is the square in a square ruler site:

I bought one but never opened the package. I donated it to my quilt guild's silent auction.

Re: rulers
I've been going through magazines lately and noticed a wave ruler. Does anyone use this type of ruler?

Re: rulers
Ladybess, I have the wave ruler. It's actually quite easy to use.
Here's a write up on HGTV:

You should be able to buy it at your local quilt store.

Re: rulers
2 friends of mine bought the square in a square and really like it. One remark was that she thought the basic things it did was great but she wasn't sure about the 'advanced steps' that were more time consuming.
