I was browsing and ran accross a rotary cutter that looks like a compass for cutting circles - I guess I will get kicked out of the I have to have it club because I left it there - do any one have one
does it work well or is this something that I will injure myself with
Please note that we will be doing maintenance on this server on Sunday 1/25. It will be back up by the end of the day

Re: circle rotary cutter
I have one, but I haven't taken it out of the package yet. It's the Olfa brand so I know it will be sharp and lethal. I suppose it would be great to cut fabric for yo-yos even tho' I've never made a yo-yo in my life, or maybe for different size circles for applique. Well when that urge to make yo-yos hits at 1 AM, I'll be ready! LOL

I have one, but I haven't used it yet. DH saw it at a quilt show and decided that "I" had to have it! Still haven't thought of a pattern to use it on yet.

Re: circle rotary cutter
I've used the Olfa brand circle cutter in a class and it's very good.
I bought some kind of circle cutter from quiltersrule. It isn't worth the money at all, the fabric has to be rigid/stiff like cardboard for the thing to work. The mat that comes with it is a great cutting mat though.
