Elizaquilt, where are you?? I hope we didn't hurt your feelings when we were laughing about the "Larry Flint" thing. We just thought it was funny, not laughing at you. Are you thinking about getting a frame? What are you going to do with the Flynn frame? I hope we hear from you soon, Amie :o)

Hi there from downunder. I'm going to be in New York for a few days late in October and have heard there are some good material shops there, could anyone give me some information on where to go as time will be short and to have addresses first will save myself and sister-in-law dragging the men folk far and wide. Thanks, much appreciated. Patricia Ford

I have this frame & I like it! I just wanted something, to use on some quilts, to hold the fabric smoother & this does that. The price was right too, of course, if it's not what you are looking for, then you won't be happy with it. I understood exactly what I was getting, for the amount spent, so I haven't been disappointed. It does take a little getting use to, & a little patience, but it will work for you, once you get the hang of it. I am not really happy with using the pvc pipes to support the ends of it, but am working on that. Also, you can email them personally on their site, & they have been very helpful! Did you get the DVD for this frame, if not, you may think about getting it too, then you can watch it & see exactly how to assemble it & use it. I am really glad I have it.

Hope this helps & good luck!
You can send me a message from the forum here, privately too, if you have more questions!

Could you elaborate more on the negatives of the John Flynn quilting frame and stand. Orice seened right for me. There was one on ebay, that way all metal, but it did not tilt. I want one that tilts and isn't 9 gillion dollars.

So I would appreciate you input, and those from your friends. I don't plan on using it to machine quilt.

Thanks oodles!

Helen

Hi, I bought the Flynt frame at the Patucah quilt show, the little DVD tells you how to set it up, the set up is easy once you watch the DVD, I don't need my DVD anymore, so, if you would want it, I would gladly sent it to you, just write me your Name and address.
