purchased a new arrow sewing machine table for my 2002 babylock espire computerized machine was so happy to finely have a table my machine would sit flush in but the problem is when i sit in front of machine the needle is way to far to the left for me to be able to sit straight in front of it in other words my body can not line up in front so is there any thing you can suggest except i spent 200.00 bucks on something that is very uncomfortable trying to use ollie1shoe

Hmmmmm. Well, when I ordered my $99 Regency table, I put my old kitchen table to the left of it and an old desk behind it. It's 6' long and 5' deep now. I needed my machine flush and added 2 other surfaces to give me a larger surface. I bought a hard plastic office floor cover thing so I can roll my chair where I can be in front of the needle not the center of the machine. My hole for my machine and the insert to surround it is in the middle of the table. In other words, not the perfect quilting placement with lots of room on the left. Just add a table to the left and slide your chair to the left, in front of the needle. Amie

PS- I used old quilt mags under the legs to get everything even.

i can not slide chair to left because there is a door with shelves in it so thats not possible if it was where i could do something with my left leg that probably would work any other suggestions ???? ollie1shoe

I recently bought a table too for my machine for the same reason. My problem is the knee lift bar hits the bar that supports the table.

I don't know if what I did will work for you but I turned my table around. I know my machine doesn't sit exactly in the center of my table (it has an open space on the right side for the plugs, and when I turned it around, it gave me the extra space I needed.

Good luck ... I know what you mean about spending hundreds of dollars for something that doesn't do what you wanted it to ...

keep us posted. Hope if this doesn't work, someone else has an idea for you that will.

Bransmom, by any chance is the table you bought a SEW-EZI? I have those and really really love them, but ran into a problem that sounds like what you described. When I put my Janome6600P in it I can't use the knee-lift to get the extra heighth on the presser foot I need to engage the built-in walking foot....the knee lifter hits the bar on the table and won't go as far to the right as it needs to. I have to take the machine out of the cabinet and use the lifter and then put it back in the cabinet. It has the acrylic insert that goes around the machine to make it flush with the table... just wondering if this is the one you have and turn the machine around to make it work or if it's another type. Help!

Can you re-arrange your room so the door with shelves isn't in the way? Amie

Ollie, did you ask the Arrow dealer if your machine would fit in the table you wanted? When I was looking for my cabinet I found out that my MC Janome 6600P (computerized, 9" throat) would not fit in some of the cabinets. You can possibly e.mail or call Arrow and ask what the solution is to your problem.

i looked up the arrow web site the cabinet is the 98503 i will have to call them next week we are not at home now for me to get the dimensions for my babylock espire that i purchased it for i will call them with the problem dont think they can help it may be the dealer sold me the wrong cabinet it might fit a smaller size machine and to think all the trouble my son inlaw did putting it together for me dont know if the dealer will take it backor exchange the problem there is i may have to pay a lot more to get it replaced we are away from home this week so i cant do anything now except worry about it if you have the time look at the web site and you will see what the cabinet looks like thanks everyone ollie1shoe
