Does anyone remember how to do the mini-4 patch in the seams on the back of a 4 patch block? I know you have to remove 2 or 3 stitches. Do you have to iron the seams in any particular direction? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Eleanor explains it (with pictures!) in several books. Do you have the Still Stripping book? It is shown on page 54. In the Egg Money book it is shown on page 188 - and the way for 8 pointed star on page 69. If you don't have either of these books, PM me and I will try to find it in a book you own! It's SO neat. (I think she must stay up nights thinking up ways to make things so nice!!)

Thanks, I knew I saw it somewhere, but couldn't find it....I was trying to explain it to my church quilting group and needed something with pictures.....wouldn't you know that I couldn't remember how to do it when I was asked about it!!

m2hvnfn40 Just wanted to say Hello & Welcome. We are happy to have you join us here. Be sure to read on the General Discussion area about the new Beta QIAD site. Andy posted it and there is a link to click on that takes you to the new site. Didn't want you hearing bit & pcs. and feeling confused. If you haven't checked out the Swap & BOM section, check that out too & see if you might be interested in joining in on any of the swaps & BOM's going on. Again, happy to have you.

m2hvnfn,
Love your name and welcome to the Forum. We are so glad to have you join us. Please join in on lots of discussions so we can all get to know each other.
I love the mini four-patch on the back of a block. It took me forever to learn how to do it. I agree with Ann, go to either Still Stripping or Egg Money for photo directions.
You gave me a good idea. I will see if I can have the instructions added somewhere to our website.
Linda
